Meaning: lord of Hermon.

  1. Baal-hermon, a city near Mount Hermon inhabited by the Ephraimites (1 Chronicles 5:23)

    This is probably identical with Baal-gad (Joshua 11:17).

  2. Baal-hermon, a mountain center of Baal worship

    also known as: Baal Chermon

    mountain east of Lebanon (Judges 3:3) where a false god Baal was worshipped.

    This is probably the same as Mount Hermon, or one of its three peaks.
