Meaning: house of two cakes of figs
This is a city of ancient Moab, upon which Jeremiah (Jeremiah 48:22) denounced destruction.
It is also called Almon-diblathaim (Numbers 33:46) and Diblath (Ezekiel 6:14).
It is one of the encampment stations of the Israelites during their long wilderness wanderings.
