Jude

also known as: Judas

Among the apostles there are two who bore this name.

1. Jude, an Apostle, the brother of Jesus Christ and James

   He was also known as Judas (Jude 1:1; Matthew 13:55; John 14:22; Acts 1:13), Judah, Lebbaeus and Thaddaeus (Matthew 10:3; Mark 3:18).

2. Jude, the disciple, son of Simon Iscariot

   He is usually called Judas Iscariot (Matthew 10:4; Mark 3:19).
