SHARE GOD’S STORY, from the beginning

Share God’s story by starting with Creation. Many children have no Christian background. They are much like the “Greeks” that the apostle Paul spoke to at Mars Hill, they lack foundations to understand the Gospel. In Paul’s time, in presenting the Gospel to a Jew, you could proceed directly discussing the Messiah. The Jews understood the foundations. But if you started at the same point with a “Greek” who knew nothing about the foundations, the message sounded like foolishness. So Paul and Peter used a different technique with the “Greeks”, they started at the beginning, in Genesis--introducing the Creator, Creation, the Fall, man’s nature, God’s judgments, etc., before moving to Christ, the Messiah.
