I guess you had to see the first movie of this series to think it was funny because I never saw “Friday,” and I didn’t think “Next Friday” was that entertaining. It’s not worth the six dollars to get in. My Ratings: [2½/1]
Wyatt Avery, age 15
I thought the movie needed help. The star in the first one, Chris Tucker, was needed in this sequel to make it good. I think the movie, although being dumb, was absolutely funny.
Seth Hargrove
I thought it was alright. You can’t expect a lot from this movie to up hold a Christian view because there is none in it. My Ratings: [2/2]
Marie, age 21
This movie is funny, but has things like profane language and glorifies sexual behavior. “Next Friday” is a movie that should offend believers. This does not mean we can’t go and see movies like “Friday” to see the trash that surrounds the movie-making industry. My Ratings: [1/3½]

Movie Critics
…a very sick film trying to pass itself off as a comedy.
Focus on the Family
…most of the humor is about as fresh as the air left behind whenever Witherspoon uses a toilet.
