Here’s what the distributor says about their film: This is the comedic story of a handsome young Latino man (Verastequi) living in Los Angeles who’s engaged to three different girls (a cocktail waitress in Miami, a wealthy New Yorker and a lawyer in Chicago), and what happens when they all find out about his “triple-timing” on the same weekend, and decide to have their revenge on him.

…Right from the get-go, [“Chasing Papi”] feels too frenetic and, worse yet, forced. That results in what might have been an enjoyable enough diversion coming off as annoying and hyperactive…
ScreenIt!
…Both the moral content and the entertainment value of this film are low, so you would be better off spending your time on something other than “Chasing Papi”…
Alan Boyer, Preview Family Movie and TV Review
…The moral of the story? If he’s cute enough, it doesn’t matter how much of a cad he is. It’s simply not very funny watching three beautiful women fight over a scrap that fell off the XY table… Don’t let Jaci [Velasquez’s] starring role mislead your family. Chase teens and tweens away from Papi…
