Review: Countdown to Eternity

“…Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people; all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the Earth be gathered together against it.” —Zechariah 12:2-3

Here’s what the distributor says about their film: “When nuclear weapons are smuggled into America, FBI Agent Shane Daughtry (David A.R. White) is faced with an impossible task—find them before they are detonated. The clock is ticking and the only people who can help are a washed up arms dealer (Lee Majors), a converted Israeli Mossad Agent (Stacy Keach) and a by- the-book CIA Deputy Director (Randy Travis).

With the Middle East in turmoil, Israel’s preeminent Ally is thrust into an impending war— America is now the target as the battle for Jerusalem begins. Adapted from the best selling book by Pastor John Hagee, JERUSALEM COUNTDOWN highlights the reality of an inevitable conflict between Israel and Islam. When nuclear weapons are smuggled into America, Senior FBI Agent, Shane Daughtry (David A.R. White is faced with an impossible task—find them before they are detonated. The clock is ticking and the only people who can help are a washed up arms dealer (Lee Majors), a retired Agent (Stacy Keach) and a by- the-book CIA Deputy Director played by Randy Travis. Nuclear holocaust on American soil threatens global stability and the impending destruction of the world is coming to fruition, in this film of international terror and suspense. Positive—Very exciting, filled with suspense, intrigue, action packed thriller! Extremely interesting ending. The violence is not graphic, no gory bloody scenes. Yes, people are shot dead and blown up, if that bothers you, this movie is not for you. The Gospel message is presented in a roundabout way. Hopefully it will make those who view it think about eternal life and things that are happening around the world at this time.

I believe it is appropriately rated. There is no sex, nudity or foul language. I recommend this movie for viewing and is worth the pricwe to rent it.
