Gatam

Meaning: Great fatigue (from a root word meaning to labor and to be weary).

This man was a “duke” or chieftan of Edom and a son Eliphaz (Gen 36:11, 16; 1 Chronicles 1:36), the firstborn of Esau—firstborn of Isaac (son of Abraham). Gatam’s brothers were Teman, Omar, Zepho (Zephi), Kenaz, Timna, and Amalek.
