This man was a “duke” or chieftan of Edom and a son Eliphaz (Gen 36:11, 15; 1 Chronicles 1:36), the firstborn of Esau—firstborn of Isaac (son of Abraham).

Zepho’s brothers are Teman, Omar, Gatam, Kenaz, Timna, and Amalek (all Edomite chiefs).
