  1. Jephunneh, the father of the Caleb who was Joshua’s companion in bravely exploring Canaan (Numbers 13:6; 1 Chronicles 4:15), a Kenezite (Joshua 14:14)

    This Caleb received Hebron as an inheritance (Joshua 14:13).

    He was a descendant of Asher (1 Chronicles 7:38). His brothers were Pispah and Ara.
