“Stream of Egypt”

(Isaiah 27:12 KJV)

This is the Wadi Arish, also called “the river of Egypt” and the “brook of Egypt.” Revised King James Version, “brook of Egypt” (Numbers 34:5; Joshua 15:4; 2 Kings 24:7)

This is the natural boundary of Egypt and the land of Canaan.

When heavy rains have fallen among the inland Sinai mountains, it becomes a turbulent rushing torrent.

It is located close to the modern boundary between Egypt and Gaza.
