Meaning: God is its fear

This is an ancient city in the tribe of Dan.

It was a city of refuge and a Levitical city (Joshua 21:23; 19:44).

Archaeologists have suggested that it may be located at Tel Shalaf in Israel or possibly at the Palestinian town of Beit Liqya, Israel (a.k.a. Bayt Liqya or Beit Likia).
