Which…
daughters of the Pharaohs are mentioned in the Bible

Three Egyptian princesses are mentioned in Scripture.

  1. The Egyptian princess who adopted the infant Moses, Exodus 2:10

She is twice mentioned in the New Testament (Hebrews 11:24).

…Pharaoh’s daughter took him away and nurtured him as her own son. —Acts 7:21 excerpt

By faith Moses, when he had grown up, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter —Hebrews 11:24

It would seem that she was alive and in some position of influence in the court when Moses was compelled to flee from Egypt, and thus for 40 years he had in some way been under her influence.

  2. Bithiah, daughter of Pharaoh

She married the Israelite Mered (1 Chronicles 4:18).

    SEE: Bithiah

  3. One of Solomon’s wives

She is mentioned in the book of Kings Solomon (1 Kings 3:1).

This is the first reference since the Exodus to any connection of Israel with Egypt.
