The changeable suits of apparel, and the mantles, and the wimples, and the crisping pins
The Revised King James Version changed the translation to “shawls.”
The same Hebrew word appears in Ruth 3:15, but here the King James Version translates it as “vail.”
The New King James Version uses “shawl” or “cloak.”
Also he said, “Bring the shawl [or cloak] that is on you and hold it.” And when she held it, he measured six ephahs of barley, and laid it on her. Then she went into the city. —Ruth 3:15 NKJV
