An exhiliarating ride
This exhiliarting ride may just teach you something. As you are hurtled along a roller-coaster ride, you listen to lesson questions. Based on the answer to the question, you veer to the right or to the left lane. Get in the wrong lane and you lose time or actually get kicked off the track. So, stay in the lane that has the right answer to the question to complete the course in the fastest time.

Rated 'Exceptional' by Shepherd Staff Shepherd's Staff rates “GodSpeed 3D” as exceptional.

Gameplay
GodSpeed 3D puts you on a wild roller coaster ride. You can control the rider with a mouse or keyboard. Speed is also adjustable although faster times are encouraged. More speed usually generates more adrenaline as well if you want a substitute for coffee. There are hazards in the road like deception, confusion, and greed. But you can combat those using faith, hope, love, etc. However, these may be going by so fast, you may not even realize you had a hazard.

Design Features
GodSpeed 3D features immersive graphics that will have you physically turning your head as you go left, right and even upside down! Hopefully you do not get vertigo easily. This will thrill a lot of players. In addition, there is a variety of graphics through the various themes.

You can use the mouse or keyboard to control the ride, whichever you prefer. Plus, some of the controls are configurable.

For younger players, it is not required that they be able to read. Only understand simple spoken English. And it is helpful to understand enough of the material to make good answer selections.

The built in lessons are:

  • Four Gospel Books
  • John 3:16
  • The Lord's Prayer
  • Ten Commandments
  • The Beatitudes
  • Twelve Apostles
  • Twelve Tribes Of Israel
  • In the Bible Or Not
  • New Testament Books
  • Old Testament Books
  • Ten Commandments In Order
  • Creation Week

Plus you can create your own lessons as long as you can record on your computer (microphone and sound card). This would be ideal for a youth Sunday School class as you could have questions based on the material you were already studying.

Where can players and parents object?
It would be a surprise if parents objected to this game. Perhaps their objections would be the child wanting to play during the parent's play time.

Give it a try!
Either buy GodSpeed or at least download the demo and see if you like it. You will enjoy the graphics. And it is nice to have non-violent fun. Plus, the player will learn from the experience. For these reasons, the game is rated as exceptional from a Christian standpoint, per guidelines at Shepherd Staff. For some, they may not be able to adapt to the game play experience and should try One Nation Under God or Scripture Solitaire.
