Dark Cloud 2
If there is one RPG to buy this year its dark cloud 2. Not only is it pretty clean for its genre but it also has a good story.

The story is this. You play a young boy named Max who lives in the walled town of palm brinks. But something is amiss an evil clown is after a strange red gem on your neck. You discover that its is an atlamiilia a gem that allows time travel. During the course of the game you will meet a girl named Monica who also has an atlamillia. She is from the future and will tell you of the evil emperor griffon who is traveling through time to destroy those who oppose him. You become involved in a quest to restore the world and defeat emperor griffon. But also look for your mother who left on an errand to another town when you were young.

Gameplay: 5
Not only is it a nice dungeon crawler. But it also has an interesting system called georama which allows you to rebuild the world. You also level yourself up with items and use attachments to upgrade your weapon.

Language: Mild
The charaters Gaspard and Monica sometimes say the ''D-Word''.

Dark Cloud 2

Occult: Mild Standard RPG magic and a charter that got reincarnated. Also a magic stone that that's shows the future.

Suggestive Themes: Very Mild
A very expensive bikini type thing for Monica. Nothing else. You buy it with medals. But there are many much better things to get with medals.

Commendable:Max is a very kind young man looking for his mother and helping people along the way. Gaspard redeems himself later on in the game as does Griffon.

Overall take: Positive
I don't recommend this game to the very young. But a child, maybe a strong christian child of 11-14 would enjoy this game.
