Ever since Adam and Eve, Man’s whole environment has forced him to see just how serious sin is. Adam’s disobedience ultimately changed all of his kingdom for the worse (Romans 8:20-22, Genesis 3:14-19). The effects of sin are everywhere. As the apostle Paul said, “the whole creation has been groaning in pain up to the present time” (Romans 8:22).
