How does viewing violence in movies affect the family? Answer

Every time you buy a movie ticket or rent a video you are casting a vote telling Hollywood “That’s what I want.” Why does Hollywood continue to promote immoral programming? Are YOU part of the problem?

Here’s what the distributor says about their film: (from the producer) Sean is on a cross-country road trip to attend his sister’s wedding, when he does the one thing he was warned not to do; He picks up a hitchhiker. Soon, this casual trip is transformed into a surreal nightmare of hapless victims and bloodletting vampires. Sean’s new companion, Nick, is infected with a deadly “blood disease” and has been tracking the bloodletters. With each mysterious delay, Sean is in jeopardy of missing his sister’s wedding. Sean and Nick pick up a dazed and frightened girl, Megan, who has been left for dead by the vampires. Unfortunately, Megan is not only a victim, but also human bait. Soon, Sean is infected and finally forces Nick to tell him everything he knows about the legend of the forsaken. Nick informs Sean that the only cure for their “disease” is to kill the vicious leader of the vampire gang. What started as a casual cross-country trip, has now become a deadly race against time.

…After the first little intro clip we both looked at each other wide-eyed and were thinking “what the heck have we gotten ourselves into!?”. This movie is full of gross blood, violence, and nudity. It is probably the most offensive movie I have seen. It has almost everything possibly offensive included. The only thing that it is lacking is a sex scene. Also, it was one of the first horror movies that I have seen which I wouldn’t consider very corny. If you want to see a scary movie and don’t mind seeing nude young women with blood oozing out of their body and running all over them (i really hope that EVERYONE would be very offended by this), then see this movie.

This is the first movie I have ever had to leave in the middle of. Nudity is everywhere; just about every other scene it seems. The profanity is horrible as well. I tell everyone I know NOT to see this one.

I didn’t know what I was in for when I went in to see this movie… I was shocked at some of the things that I saw.
